Allweather decorative plaster comprises hydrated lime, crushed marble and/or chips combined with binders sourced from Europe to make it durable and customized. It will seem smooth to touch and a treat to eyes. Synthetic colorants are used to create more than 80 shades. The dramatic appeal given to the walls will create the ambiance you always crave.The decorative plaster is mixed with colors, and traditional techniques are used to create more than 15 customized finishes. All the finishes are hand applications, and sprayer or machines are not used.

Decorative plaster also known as Venetian plaster originated in Venice, Italy. Few references indicate it has been used as far back as Roman times. The houses were built in lagoons that made it vulnerable to sinking slowly,and to avoid this they explored alternatives for marble/granite slabs.Decorative plaster is primarily used to give a finish that looks like polished marble,travertine, or limestone. Such plasters are usually   applied over a primer and putty base, from one to three layers.They are finished (burnished) with a specialized steeltrowel to a smooth glass-like sheen. Decorative plaster is usually sealed with a protective layer of wax.The final appearance of this finish is also dependent on the hand of the individual applicator.
